You like to take it slow with a few breaks and happy being on your feet for 2-3 hours a day for 1-2 days. You probably don't have all the kit, require outdoors advice and looking to try an activity for the first time.
THE ADVENTURE
This tiny Himalayan kingdom which still has close ties with the UK, packs a huge punch, both culturally and geographically. A fusion of both Hinduism and Buddhism, it’s teeming with palaces, temples and mediaeval towns; one of the most beautiful lands in Asia, it’s home to eight of the world’s ten highest mountains. Its rivers and mountains offer some of the world’s best trekking and rafting, its national parks shelter the One-Horned Rhinoceros and the Royal Bengal Tiger and its people exude life, colour and warmth. Join us as we embark on a Nepalese adventure to the Himalayas as well as learning about the life and future of the domesticated Asian Elephant.
The purpose element of the trip is focussed around ethical elephant tourism at Tiger Tops Nepal. Obtaining an unforgettable, immersive, and educational encounter with elephants whilst providing the elephants with a high quality of life should be the future goal for lodges in Asia. Tiger Tops is doing just that and is one of the fist camps in Asia to do so, setting an example for the industry to follow suit. A chance to see a pioneering product in action given how 'hot' the topic is of elephants in captivity and the abuse that goes along with riding them.

Day 1 - Kathmandu: Arrive in Nepal's Capital
The IGO team will greet you in Kathmandu and take you through the organised chaos to the Dwarikas Hotel. The Hotel is a unique place in South Asia, a living testament to the fact that tourism need not destroy heritage and the environment. It has demonstrated that a proper blend of cultural restoration and tourism leads to the preservation of historical artefacts and contributes to the growth of skills and culture that would otherwise have eroded due to the crass commercialism of today. Freshen up, briefing by the IGO team, organise your kit before meeting for a traditional 6 course Nepali Banquet at the Krishnarpan restaurant.
Activities - Trip briefing, drinks with the group, introductory supper.
Day 2 - Travel to the Forbidden Kingdom in Mustang

It is also famous for its apple garden and traditionally well kept monastery. Situated at an altitude of 2580m, it was once the most important Thakali Village and famous chief market town in a major trading route between Tibet and India. Many of the town’s stone houses once served as salt and grain storehouses.
